Details of this experiment can be found on the departmental web site at the following URLs:
Molecular Modelling:
Write up
The write up should conform to the RSC journal Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry style
(Title, Abstract, Introduction, Computational Details, Results and Discussion, References). You
have the option of including ESI (Electronic Supplemental Information) as with RSC articles. For
a typical example, see
http://www.rsc.org/suppdata/P2/b1/b111369k/b111369k.html
You must submit your report for this experiment by e-mail (e.g. as a Microsoft Word attachment)
to:
organic-3@ic.ac.uk
When doing so, please follow some simple guidelines:
1. Use Word, Claris Works or HTML only.
2. Give files appropriate extensions (i.e. .doc). This prevents confusion when the files may travel
through a Windows system.
3. Try to send just one file. If not possible, create an archive first (ZIP, or use Dropstuff on a
Mac).
4. Give the file a name which includes your own name (i.e. don't call it report.doc)
Please remember to tell the demonstrator to sign off the experiment on the list in
the lab when you have submitted the report by e-mail.
