Synthesis of the Cyclic Peptides Each linker is coupled to Boc-protected Gly-Gly peptide to obtain the N- and C-terminal protected tripeptide.  The ester is hydrolyzed; the Boc group is removed upon treatment with trifluoroacetic acid; and the cyclization occurs under dilute concentration to give the final macrocycle.       Back to Index            Next Page
