     • Using BOX
     • Using a local ELN (e.g. HPC portal)
     • Using Github etc.
  2. Plan the gathering of metadata about your data (the tough bit)
  3. Publication of research data/objects + metadata by assigning a persistent identifier (DOI)
  4. Cite the dataDOIs in your publication and the publication DOI in the metadata of your data
  5. Associate the dataDOIs with the articleDOI in your institutional CRIS (current research information system)
