I'd sure like to see more information owner/publishers (as opposed to
system vendors) among the voting members of the W3C. I can't help
thinking that if more voting members were concerned about creating a
context in which the conservation and exploitation of information
assets is optimized, we'd have a lot more stability, emanating from a
much firmer sense of direction. I'm sorry, I know I keep harping on
this, but it seems blindingly obvious to me that:
The maximum improvement of human productivity should be the goal.
