Note that grove-based APIs such as that exposed by GroveMinder and the
soon-to-be-releaed PyGrove do not have this problem. They present exactly
as much information as the grove user asks for or the application can
supply (obviously, whichever is less!). Users and grove-providing tools
can communicate what they want with "grove plans." Over a few months, I've
been working on a tutorial introduction to groves. The unfinished work is
